Draft Joondalup City Centre Structure Plan

Council, at its meeting held on 25 May 2010, adopted the draft Joondalup City Centre Structure Plan and proposed Amendment 42 to District Planning Scheme No 2. 

The Joondalup City Centre Structure Plan is proposed to replace the existing Joondalup Development Plan and Manual as the document that guides development within the City Centre.

The Joondalup City Centre Structure Plan (JCCSP) is required to be endorsed by the Western Australian Planning Commission prior to its finalisation and implementation. In addition, Amendment 42 is required to be approved by the Minister for Planning prior to the amendments coming into effect.  

Status Update - April 2012

Changes have been made to the draft Joondalup City Centre Structure Plan and modifications will be advertised in the near future for public comment.
