Food Safe for Charities and Community Organisations

Charity and community organisations are subject to the same requirments of the Food Standards Code as other food businesses.

However these organisation do have different Registration/Notification requirements and can be exempt from some fees.

Food Standards Australia have a set of fact sheets to assist charities and community organisations meet their legal obligations under the Food Standards Code.
