Holding an Event in the City?
The City provides advice and guidance to the organisers of community and large public events. Approval must be granted by the City to hold an event.
To protect the health and safety of those attending, a number of aspects of the event must be considered. These include:
- food safety and hygiene practices
- venue safety
- fire safety
- electrical safety
- public toilets
- noise emissions
- insurance
- emergency evacuation plans
