Land Purchase Enquiry

If you are intending to purchase a property we can provide information on the history of the property.

Ask your settlement agent to lodge a land purchase inquiry with the City. The City will respond to the land purchase inquiry within fourteen working days.

A land purchase inquiry can assist you with:

• building licence approvals issued for the property
• Town Planning Scheme zoning
• proposed road widening/treatments
• advice regarding rates
• dangerous trees

We recommend when writing the offer and acceptance, a clause be added requesting the owner provide proof that all structures and land uses have City approval.
