Capital Works Program

The capital works document has been prepared to provide detailed information about the City’s Five Year Capital Works Program for the following areas:

• Parks Equipment Program
• Streetscape Enhancement Program
• Traffic Management Program
• Parking Facilities Program
• Major Road Construction Program
• Paths Program
• Stormwater Drainage Program

• Major Building Construction Works Program
• Major Projects Program

The Five Year Capital Works Program has been developed from the strategic directions set by Council, the community and by officers to meet the anticipated community infrastructure needs and demands to match the future development of the City.

Council has approved for construction only those projects listed in the first year of the 2011/12 Five Year Capital Works Program.  All those projects detailed in the consecutive years 2012/13 to 2015/16 are approved for listing in the Five Year Capital Works Program.

The document contains a Five Year Overview and program summary sheets detailing the purpose, background and some comment on each of the program areas.  Following each summary sheet is a 5 year list of projects within the program area.
