Shenton House
- 57 Shenton Avenue
This development will see the existing church and office building retained on site for use as offices only. A new four storey building will be constructed on the remainder of the site.
This building will contain a café, church, car parking, medical suites, radiological clinic, and office space, and is comprised of six different levels. It will appear as a four storey building externally due to the design and building configuration used.
The estimated cost is $15,000,000.
Sentiens Hospital - 113 Grand Boulevard 
This development will see a seven storey building constructed on this currently vacant site. The predominant land use will be a private psychiatric hospital (including consultation suites).
This will be accompanied by other commercial land uses including offices and a pharmacy.
The estimated cost is $35,000,000.
Aqua Apartments - 88 Lakeside Drive 
The development includes the following:
- Three separate buildings, comprising a four storey building on the western portion of the site, a three storey building on the eastern portion of the site and a single level building on the northern boundary of the site;
- 42 multiple dwellings (including 15 single bedroom dwellings) ranging in size from 66m2 to 123m2; and
- A 75m2 convenience store fronting Lakeside Drive.
Cove Apartments - 1 Walsh Loop 
The development includes the following:
- Three ‘village’ buildings over three separate lots, varying in height from 3 to 6 storeys;
- 187 multiple dwellings comprising one, two & three bedrooms ranging in size from 60m2 to 154m2 ;
- Ground floor commercial tenancies in Village 2 and 3;
- A communal area in Village 2, which includes a swimming pool and BBQarea; and
- Maximum six storeys + basement, floor space 9,000m2.
The estimated cost is $38,000,000.
Joondalup Health Campus
Three approvals have been issued by the City for extensive redevelopment works at the Joondalup Health Campus Site.
The approval issued in 2008 included:
- Refurbishing the existing public hospital building which includes the existing medical centre, emergency department, staff dining/catering area, rehab and palliative care, medical records, day procedures and oncology sections;
- Extending the public hospital building by creating a new two storey inpatient ward building to the north (behind) the existing public hospital building; and
- Increasing the size of the public hospital by creating a two storey building extension to the east.
These works are now well underway.
The most recently approved development proposal includes:
- Construction of a five storey private hospital, three storey clinical school and three storey medical centre;
- Fitting out of an additional portion of the public hospital (adding an additional 30 beds) currently under construction; and
- A two storey decked car park.
