Community Consultation

Following endorsement by Council of the concept plan for the Ocean Reef Marina, the City undertook a community consultation campaign and the Ocean Reef Marina Community Consultation brochure and survey form was mailed to all ratepayers and residents in May 2009 (click here to download the brochure - ORM Brochure.pdf).  An unprecedented 11,728 completed surveys were received by the closing date (20 July 2009). 

 The overwhelming majority of respondents were in favour of developing the marina site (93.9%) and 95.6% expressed their approval of the proposed concept plan.  Further top line results are available for download via the link on the right hand side of the page.
