Group Fitness
Our friendly and experienced instructors deliver a range of group fitness classes so you can have fun and get fit at the Leisure Centres in Craigie and Duncraig.
We follow the Les Mills program, and have over 90 classes to choose from with specific programs for seniors, teenagers and people recovering from illness/injury.
Participants should arrive 15 minutes before the class, wear comfortable sportswear and training shoes, and bring along a water bottle and a towel.
Each class starts with a warm-up exercise, so in the interest of health and safety we reserve the right to refuse entry to classes once they have commenced.

| Abs, Butts and Thighs | This low-impact class tones, strengthens and shapes your lower body. |
| Aquafit | This is the perfect class to improve fitness and lose weight. Exercising in water has many benefits and the water acts as resistance thereby minimising impact. You can enjoy this class even if you are unable to swim. |
| BODYBALANCE® | Combines yoga, pilates and tai-chi to improve your balance, posture and flexibility. |
| BODYCOMBAT® | Based on martial arts moves to increase your strength, endurance, speed, power and flexibility. |
| BODYJAM® | This is the ultimate groove class, a mix of dance and aerobic moves blended with the latest sounds of hip-hop, funk and Latin music. |
| BODYPUMP® | A low-impact total weight training class designed to change your shape. |
| BODYSTEP® | Based on up and down movements on a step, this athletic workout targets your lower body. |
| BODYVIVE® | Is the fitness workout that lets you choose just how hard you work. This class integrates aerobic exercise for heart fitness, resistance training for strength and stability, and stretching and mobility work. |
| Deep Aqua | This is the water class with a difference. Use buoyancy and resistance equipment in deep water to improve fitness and strength in a non-impact environment. |
| Fitball | This is designed to improve your posture and core stability. It is a low-impact workout which will have you rolling, lying, sitting and balancing on your fitball. |
| Gentle Platinum Aqua | The perfect class if you are recovering from injury or exercising for the first time. This gentle low impact aqua class will help you improve fitness, mobility and confidence. |
| RPM | An indoor cycling program - RPM is the ultimate fat-burning ride of your life! This is a low- impact workout that allows you to work at your level during the class. |
| Platinum Aquafit | This gentle class is designed to improve your fitness and mobility. There is no swimming involved and the session is conducted in a shallow warm water pool. |
| Platinum BODYPUMP | An easy to follow gentle low impact training class designed to increase muscle strength and improve bone health. |
| Platinum Circuit | A great resistance workout that will strengthen and tone your muscles using a combination of light weights, hydraulic equipment and cardio machines. |

| Power Hour Circuit | This boot-camp-style class improves fitness, strength and endurance. |
| Teen Training | An introduction to weight and fitness training for those aged between 12 and 16 years (term time only). |
| Weight Loss Circuit | Uses weights, treadmill, step, cycling and boxing to improve, tone and increase fitness. |
| Yoga Active and Dynamic | Correct and realign your body using flowing sequences (patrons need to bring a large towel and yoga mat). |
