Live, Learn and Explore @ City of Joondalup Libraries
Gone are the days of beige and brown. City of Joondalup Libraries offer a welcoming, bright and fun filled learning experience.
The City of Joondalup has four libraries within the City boundaries, a specialized Reference and Local History Library located at Joondalup Library plus a mobile “Books on Wheels” delivery service to residents who are unable to access the library.
Membership is free and not limited only to those who live and work in the City.
Events and Programs for Lifelong Learning
Our libraries offer a wide range of programs and events to support lifelong learning opportunities for all ages. These include Discovery Sessions, Book Clubs, Games Sessions, Live and Learn for older adults, regular Story Time sessions and Baby Rhyme Time, English Conversation Classes, Family History Courses plus a wide range of holiday and reading activities.
We also support local, national and international authors through the Sunday Times Big Book Club and Meet the Author talks.
What about books?
We have a wide range of books for all ages and subject enthusiasts. You can search our catalogue, request items from home and also be notified when they are due or ready to be collected via email.
We stock other formats such as audio books, DVDs, Playaway titles, Music CDs, Local History photographs, newspapers, magazine titles and online databases via our Electronic Library. This includes yourtutor which is supported by ECU.
Keeping up to date with what is happening in our Libraries
City of Joondalup Libraries produce a fortnightly e-newsletter with information on what is happening in and around our libraries. As well as event information, we include hints and tips on how to get the most out of our services, including our Electronic Library collection, Local History resources, lending collection and more. Subscription is open to all.
