Comic Art @ Your Library

Do you love graphic novels and love to draw? Spend your free time reading Manga or maybe the latest adventures of Spiderman.

Join us at the library this April for National Youth Week as we explore the art of comics and graphic novels with artist Campbell Whyte. Be introduced to the different styles of comic art and work with Campbell to develop your own style. This will be a full day workshop starting at 9.30am, and lunch will be provided.

Spine Out

SpineOut is a new bi-monthly interactive digital magazine targeted specifically for Young Adults. 

There are competitions and quizzes and you can upload submissions and feedback using a number of formats including pdf, video, mp3, jpg images and more.  A selection of submissions will be published in each issue and also on the SpineOut website. Connections to social networking and other popular online venues and forums is also linked to the website.
