Clubs in-focus
"A Club Development Partnership"
The City’s Clubs in-focus program is dedicated to supporting sport and recreation clubs to enhance their capacity and to encourage the delivery of sport and recreation opportunities to the community. The program focuses on four main areas:
1. Communication
2. Education and Training
3. Grants and Funding
4. Recognition
Further information can be found on the Clubs in-focus - Fact Sheet and in the links below.
Annual Club Survey
An Annual Club Survey will be conducted to ensure the City has up-to-date details and information about the current needs of local sport and recreation clubs.
Newsletter
Communication is the best resource! The e-newsletter provides current information on City and industry news for local sport and recreation clubs.
Calendar of Events
The Calendar of Events highlights the timing of key deliverables of the program such as information seminars and funding programs.
Resource Manual
As part of the education and training focus area, this resource manual has been developed to assist you in managing your club’s activities. This manual contains general advice about a broad range of club governance topics and has been designed to complement the Clubs
in-focus information seminars and monthly enewsletters.
Grants and Funding
The City recognises that funding can significantly boost the delivery of programs and activities for your club. The City offers a range of funding opportunities for clubs and individuals.
Club Funded Facility Upgrades
Is your club planning to upgrade or construct facilities that they currently lease or hire from the City? This process aims to streamline the application, approval and licence process for projects where the City has no funding involvement.
