Community Facilities

The City owns 31 community facilities that are available for meetings, functions and event hire.  Facilities range in size from small meeting rooms up to accommodating 300 people.

For your convenience, the hire of all community facilities includes use of tables, chairs and a serviceable kitchen complete with stove, fridge and mini-boil urn.

Parks and Reserves

Picturesque parks, foreshores and reserves offer endless choices for a relaxing stroll, or quality time with the family.

With more than 60 reserves available to local sporting clubs for hire during the summer and winter season, and parks available for community events and private function hire, there is something for everyone.

Beaches

The City’s stunning coastline stretches for 17km north from Beach Road in Marmion to Burns Beach Road in Burns Beach, great locations for a beach wedding.

Lifeguard Patrols – Weekend lifeguard patrols are provided by the Sorrento and Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Clubs throughout summer to ensure the safety of all beachgoers.  An additional weekday summer service is also provided by the City at Sorrento, Hillarys and Mullaloo beaches from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Tennis Courts

The City provides tennis courts for community use at very reasonable rates.
