Little Feet Festival
The 2015 Little Feet Festival attracted more than 7,000 people to the Pines Picture Gardens at Edith Cowan University on Sunday 25 October, proving the event is still the region's most popular annual event for young children and their families. This year's festival theme 'Once Upon a Time' proved a hit with festival-goers of all ages keen to explore the wonderful world of children's stories.
Excited children and their families participated in a packed program of more than 30 events, including make and take activities, an imagination playground and obstacle course, puppet shows, outdoor music performances, roving entertainment and interactive workshops.
Old favourites such as the children's sandpit, pony rides and animal farm returned for another year, proving as popular as ever. A toddler play area was also featured for the first time, giving the very young a chance to enjoy age appropriate activities and the Parent Pit Stop allowed adults to enjoy a free hand massage while their children played in the sandpit nearby.
