Little Feet Festival
Stunning weather and a bumper program of events ensured a massive crowd was in attendance at the City of Joondalup’s 2016 Little Feet Festival on Sunday 23 October.
Held in the grounds of Edith Cowan University in Joondalup, the region’s biggest cultural event for children aged 12 and under, attracted a crowd in excess of 7000 people - many families coming from outside the region to take part in the fun.
This year’s festival theme encouraged children to celebrate their extraordinary talents and the positive qualities that make them ‘superkids.’
As well as various make and take art activities, there were plenty of interactive games, live music, circus and super storytelling and superhero training sessions to keep children of all ages entertained.
Face painters were kept busy all day and monster-sized bubbles flew over the event site at regular intervals. The younger children took part in Toddler Town activities and there was plenty of free giveaways as well as a Parent Pit Stop where the adults could recharge their batteries.
The Little Feet Festival was made possible by the support of Goodstart Early Learning, NOVA 937 and Joondalup Weekender.
