Animals Amendment Local Law 2016
Submissions in relation to Animals Amendment Local Law 2016 have now closed. A report was presented to the Ordinary Council meeting held on 20 September 2016 (CJ141-09/16 refers) at which Council resolved to DEFER the matter to the Ordinary Council meeting to be held on 13 December 2016.
Waste Local Law 2016
Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995 and the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007 and under all other powers enabling it, the Council of the City of Joondalup resolved on 15 November 2016 to make the City of Joondalup Waste Local Law 2016, for the purposes of public advertising.
The purpose of this local law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of waste services, including the use and control of receptacles for the deposit and collection of waste, undertaken by or on behalf of the local government within the district.
The effect of this local law is to establish the requirements with which any owner or occupier of premises using local government waste services, including the use of receptacles for the deposit and collection of waste within the district, must comply.
