Community Safe Speed Promise
What is the Community Safe Speed Promise?
The program asks the community to sign a Community Safe Speed Promise and commit to driving within the speed limit.
The City will provide committed community members with a sticker to be placed onto the back window or bumper of their car. The sticker aims to remind the community of their promise to drive within the speed limit.
Community Safe Speed Promise drivers act as role models for other drivers and promote good driver behaviour.
The program has been funded through the Community Road Safety Grants Program which is funded by the Road Trauma Trust Fund and administered by the Road Safety Council.
