Construction Noise - Building Sites

Work that creates noise on a building site can be carried out between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays). This is providing that the equipment used is in good working order and is used in the manner it was designed for.

Builders wishing to work outside these hours are required to submit a detailed nose management plan outlining time, date, work to be carried out and reasons why this work is required to be carried out outside of these hours. This noise Management Plan is required to be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the work being scheduled.
