Paid Parking

The City of Joondalup has introduced paid parking within the City Centre.

The introduction of paid parking is crucial to ensure parking is regulated effectively to support local businesses.

Encouraging a high turnover of parking bays provides greater convenience for people wanting to park closer to the businesses they wish to visit.

Visitors will return to the city centre more frequently if convenient parking is more readily available.

Revenue generated from paid parking will be used to fund future parking facility needs within the City as it matures and will result in the development of a continuous improvement and enhancement program for parking services.

Some residential areas in  the Joondalup City Centre have a parking permit scheme.
