Whenever a firebreak is cleared by burning, the provisions of the Act and Regulations must be observed.

The use of chemicals is subject to all restrictions imposed by the Department of Agriculture. If it is considered to be impracticable for any reason to comply with the provisions of this notice, application may be made not later than 15 October 2008 to the City for permission to provide alternate fire protection measures. If permission is not granted the requirements of this notice must be complied with.
