Charity Collection Day
Bring along your clothing and textiles and donate them to charity. The next Charity Collection Day is to be held at (the rear car park) the Leisure Centre - Craigie and the City of Joondalup Administration Building on Saturday 13 February 2016, 9.00am - 2.00pm .
No Glass Campaign
You may have noticed a 'No Glass in this bin' sticker on your green-lidded bin. Mindarie Regional Council, in conjunction with the City of Joondalup and three other local authorities in WA, are currently running a No Glass campaign. This campaign aims to reduce glass contamination in the general waste bin to improve recycling outcomes. The contents of your green-lidded bin are processed at the Resource Recovery Facility (RRF), where the organic content is composted into market quality soil enhancers or compost. The leaflet should also have been accompanied by an explanatory leaflet in your letter box.
