Green Waste
Green waste can be included in the bulk rubbish collection. Please remember to keep it seperate from other rubbish.
Residents can recycle clean, green garden waste including tree loppings and garden prunings. These must be trimmed in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Side branches must be trimmed off and be no longer than 1.5m in length.
- Branches more than 150mm in diameter must be cut into 300mm lengths.
What will the recycled greenwaste material be used for?
The material will be shredded, mulched and is available for sale and is also used on the City's parks and gardens.
I missed the bulk waste collection. Where can I recycle my garden waste?

70 Motivation Drive
Wangara
The facility is open to the public from 8.00am - 4.45pm on weekends and public holidays (except Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day).
Is there a charge involved?

Is there any material that can’t be recycled?
Loads that contain contaminated material will not be accepted. For further information please contact the City on 9400 4255.
