In 1999 the Joondalup Arena gave these public artworks to the City and they were relocated to Central Park.

In 2002, as a response to the Metal Trees, artist Indra Geidans worked with participants from Disabled and Disadvantaged in the Arts Australia (DADAA) and Creaney Support Centre to create mosaic motifs of the flora and Fauna local to Central Park.
