The City’s art collection comprises of over 240 artworks. With a primary focus on the work of Western Australian contemporary artists, the collection also represents artists connected with, and themes relevant to, the City of Joondalup.
Featuring a wide range of media and approaches, over half of the collection consists of paintings. Sculpture, drawings, ceramics, print works, photographs, textiles, video and glass work are also strong components of the collection.
The collection is housed and is on display within the City of Joondalup’s Buildings, including the Civic Chambers, Libraries, Leisure Centres and Administration Buildings. The art collection is not fixed in permanent locations and select works are rotated across the City.
