Aussie music icons Human Nature to perform at 2020 Valentine’s Concert

Direct from their headline Las Vegas residency, the City of Joondalup is proud to present Human Nature performing live at the 2020 Valentine’s Concert.

The Australian music icons, who later this month will be inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, will be backed by their all-star band for their Motown and More show on Thursday 13 February 2020 at Joondalup Resort.

Human Nature will have attendees singing and dancing to classic songs of Motown, pop and soul including Baby I Need Your Lovin’, Dancing in the Street, Uptight and Runaround Sue as well as some of their own favourite hits.

Since signing to Sony Music Australia over two decades ago, Human Nature have earned their place as one of the world’s finest pop-vocal groups of the modern era, releasing 13 studio albums (4 of which went to no. 1 in Australia), garnering 26 platinum awards, 15 top 20 singles and five top 10 hits worldwide, with album sales in excess of 2.5 million in Australia alone.

Earlier this year, Human Nature – Andrew Tierney, Mike Tierney, Phil Burton and Toby Allen – were awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for their service to the performing arts and entertainment field.

Human Nature said: “We are so excited to be sharing Valentine’s Day in Perth and performing in Joondalup! We have heard amazing things about the concert event and can’t wait to bring our show and loads of love to our Perth audiences in February 2020.”

City of Joondalup residents and ratepayers will get first opportunity to purchase tickets in an exclusive pre-sale from Thursday 14 November 2019. Ticket sales open to the general public from Monday 2 December 2019.

Tickets are $25.00 for residents and ratepayers, $20.00 for residents with a valid concession card and $35.00 for non-residents. They will be available for purchase via online ticketing agent Ticketbooth

Joondalup Mayor Albert Jacob said it is an honour to have a global superstar band in Human Nature performing at the Valentine’s Concert.

“Over the past 30 years, Human Nature has grown from one of Australia’s most popular acts to a worldwide sensation thrilling audiences with their Motown hits and countless songs from their own catalogue. It is a real treat for our residents, and the wider community, to have them performing at the stunning Joondalup Resort for the 2020 Valentine’s Concert,” Mayor Jacob said.

“The Valentine’s Concert has been running since 2005 and has long been one of the most popular events which the City stages. The musical acts continue to grow in stature, and attendees have the opportunity to enjoy an evening under the stars with family and friends whilst witnessing world-class entertainment.

“We look forward to that tradition continuing with the wonderful Human Nature in 2020.”

The City acknowledges the support of Valentine’s Concert sponsors, Edith Cowan University, Joondalup Health Campus, and the Joondalup Times.
