Book club in your own time

With a busy life it’s hard to find time for book club. You can now participate at your leisure using Online Book Club. It’s free to Joondalup Libraries’ members.
Online Book Club is similar to traditional in-person book clubs, but run in an online platform which is available 24/7. Online Book Club offers unlimited checkouts, so invite your friends to join the book club too.
How to join
- Make sure you have an Adobe ID or get one online.
- Install the Freading app from your smartphone or tablet’s app store. Install Adobe Digital Editions software if you are using a computer or eReader
- Authorise and log in to the Freading app as a Joondalup Libraries member
- Select Get Books to download your eBook (or all three!)
Once you’ve started reading you can begin participating in the online chat forum at https://www.pbc.guru/WAPLibrary
Titles are chosen from an extensive catalogue of current and popular titles, including Australian, US and Canadian authors and titles from international publishers as both fiction and nonfiction title.
