Do you have a fond memory of time spent at Padbury Hall? Do you live down the road? Attend the school next door? We want to hear about it!

Respected Perth-based mural artist Brendan Lewis – who goes by ‘Hope’ – believes public art is a powerful way to give the community a voice. He’s hosting an engagement session at Padbury Hall for locals and community members to contribute their ideas for a large-scale mural design.

Community session details:

Padbury Hall, 2 Caley Rd, Padbury
Sunday 2 February, 9am - 11am

The gathering will serve as an opportunity to connect with one another, foster conversation and share memories of the Hall. You’re also invited to bring along meaningful objects, personal stories, cultural attire, a costume or a favourite morning tea dish to share.

To capture these moments, the artist will provide several Polaroid cameras to photograph friends and families. These images, along with the stories shared, will serve as inspiration for the mural’s characters and motifs

A few weeks after this initial session, Hope will facilitate a community painting day where everyone will be invited to contribute to the mural through a "paint by numbers" activity.
