Facility redevelopment projects

The City is committed to providing residents with high quality parks and buildings that are well-utilised and enhance community well-being.

To meet this objective, the City redevelops aging community sporting facilities and constructs new facilities, to address current and future demands of sport, recreation and community groups, as well as the wider community.

The City uses a masterplan process on redevelopment projects which considers the overall layout of the site, the infrastructure and the facilities needs.

All facility redevelopments use the following principles:
