The City of Joondalup Youth Services invites bands, soloists, beatboxers, DJ’s, Hip Hop artists and other young people to enter, and showcase their abilities by performing live on stage.

The 2022 Line-up includes:

• Hey so Hungry 
• Euthymia
• Bailey Perrie
• Luke Carter 
• Connor Perrie

Along with a performance by the 2021 Defeat the Beat winners 'Breaking the Chains'.

Great prizes are up for grabs including Joondalup Music Centre vouchers, Superfreak studios vouchers, a professional photo shoot, exclusive studio time at the Edge Music Studio and bragging rights as THE WINNER OF DEFEAT THE BEAT 2022! 

This is a ticketed event and is smoke, drug and alcohol free.
