Notification of Works: Duffy House and Yellagonga Regional Park, Woodvale
The City of Joondalup (COJ) and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) will soon commence works within Yellagonga Regional Park and the Duffy House site to support improved access, path connections and revegetation activities.
These works are programmed to commence in May 2023 and will be progressively implemented. The works will include:
Immediate works – May – July 2023:
- installation of conservation fencing – COJ
- path connection from Hocking Road to Duffy House – DBCA
- revegetation works to the north of Duffy House – Main Roads (on behalf of DBCA)
Future work and initiatives from 2023/24:
- path connection from Duffy Terrace to Duffy House – COJ
- widening of the existing entry road – COJ
- progressing an Expression of Interest for a potential commercial operator – COJ
- revegetation works to the south of Duffy House – Main Roads (on behalf of DBCA)

Activation opportunities
Please note, the City is yet to confirm the future activation opportunities within the Duffy House site. Potential options will be informed through the upcoming Expression of Interest process and the results of the most recent community consultation conducted in July – August 2021.
