eRates – registration

To receive your 2023/24 Rates Notices by email, registration for eRates must be completed by 12 noon (WST) 18 July 2023 to allow for processing prior to the printing of notices. If your registration is received after this date your 2023/24 Rates Notice will be issued by your current delivery method.

Important:

• You will need a previous annual rate notice to register
• You must be the owner of the property and only 1 owner can apply
• The owner must be an individual not a company
• The property must not be under the management of a property agent
• Ensure the City has your current postal address on file. Note: Only the Rates and Instalment notices will be sent by email, all other communications will be posted.

Terms and Conditions
1. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, reference to a rate notice also includes reference to any instalment notices.
2. You agree to receive your rate notice by email and understand that a paper document will not be sent.
3. You confirm you are the owner of the property that you are registering for.
4. All future rate notices will be in the form of an email sent to the email address nominated unless you unsubscribe from this service.
5. If you own more than 1 property, once your initial registration has been accepted you can then register additional properties for this service. Each property registered will receive the rate notice in a separate email.
6. If you subsequently authorise a property managing agent to act on your behalf the City will unsubscribe you from this service.
7. You agree that rate notices are deemed served when the emails reach your internet service provider whether or not you have opened or read them.
8. An “out of office” notification will not be considered an undeliverable rate notice.
9. If the rate notice email is deleted and a copy of the rate notice is required charges may apply.
10. Should the City receive an electronic “delivery failure” notification from your email address, your eRates registration will be cancelled and a paper document will be posted to the last advised postal address.
11. If you change your email address or mobile number, you are required to amend your details. This can be done by accessing your Registration Successful email and clicking on the Manage your erates subscription button. You can then change your email address from the Your Details section. An email will be sent to your new email address for you to verify and amend your details.
