Final Approval – City of Joondalup Local Planning Scheme No. 3 – Amendment No. 14
It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the City of Joondalup Local Planning Scheme Amendment No. 14 on 17 November 2023 for the purpose of:
- Rezoning the area designated as ‘Residential’ under the Marmion Structure Plan from ‘Urban Development’ to ‘Residential’ and applying the ‘R20’ residential density code to this area;
- Reclassifying Magpie Park Lot 8000 (12) Ozone Road, Marmion from ‘Urban Development’ to ‘Environmental Conservation’;
- Inserting requirement No. 4 to Table 6 ‘Additional requirements that apply to land in the Scheme Area’:

5.1 The minimum setback to Cliff Street for any building is 3 metres (averaging provisions do not apply).
5.2 Buildings shall address both Cliff Street and Verve Court with equal importance by providing habitable rooms and major openings facing both streets. |
4. Amending the scheme map accordingly
A notice to this effect was published in the Government Gazette on 24 November 2023.
In accordance with Council resolution CJ124-07/23 the Marmion Structure Plan has been revoked as at 24 November 2023.
