International opportunity for cyber businesses
Are you an Australian cyber security company looking to expand into the ASEAN region?
Following the success of the cyber security cohorts at the San Francisco Landing Pad in 2018, AustCyber is pleased to partner with Austrade to deliver a tailored program for cyber security companies at the Singapore Landing Pad in 2019.
The Landing Pads program provides tailored, cohort-based residencies to help Australian startups land and expand into major global innovation hubs around the world.
The Landing Pad residency program will commence on 13 May 2019 and conclude on 12 August 2019. Places are strictly limited and subject to a competitive process.
Prior to leaving Australia, there will be an induction program, part of which will assist you to establish measurable goals for the Landing Pad program.
While in Singapore, you will receive customised market-entry and business development assistance, strategic introductions to potential customers, partners, and investors who are interested in cyber security solutions. The program will also connect you to the local cyber security ecosystem such as ICE71.
You will have an operational base at the Australian Landing Pad in Singapore.
AustCyber will provide each company selected with a cash injection of approximately $6000. The amount of financial support provided by AustCyber will depend on the market you participate in and the number of applications that are accepted.
As part of your inclusion in the program, you will have the opportunity to understand and explore opportunities in the wider ASEAN region.
Interested companies must complete and submit an online application form. Your business will be assessed based on its track record; ability to scale up and what makes your products or services stand out in the market. A selection panel will assess applications.
Applications close Monday 4 February and successful candidates will be notified in mid March 2019.
