Burning garden refuse and/or rubbish
Burning of garden refuse and/or rubbish is not permitted at any time, in an incinerator, on the ground, or by using any other apparatus, device or homemade construction, by any person on any land within the district of Joondalup.
Under the Bush Fires Act 1954 section 24G it is an offence to burn garden refuse or rubbish contrary to a local government prohibition and can result in a fine of $250.00.
