Dog Microchip Exemption

Microchipping your dog plays a crucial role in reuniting pets with their owners and is required by law. However, some dogs may be exempt from microchipping due to circumstances such as old age or other health related matters that would otherwise prove detrimental to the animal through the insertion of a microchip. In these instances, proof of microchip exemption is to be provided in writing by a veterinarian.
