Duffy House Commercial Opportunity – Expressions of Interest

The City is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced commercial operators to help attract both visitors and residents to Duffy House.

Since 2009, Duffy House has been identified by Council for its cultural significance to the broader Joondalup and Wanneroo areas. The City has acquired formal management of the site and has recently progressed significant restoration works to Duffy House.

In 2021, the Council endorsed a concept design for the Duffy House site for the purpose of community consultation. A community consultation exercise was undertaken in 2022 to identify residents’ feedback on the site’s activation.

The EOI is seeking proposals that will enhance visitor engagement by activating the Duffy House site in a way that honours its cultural, heritage and environmental values, while also meeting the expectations of the community and generating income for the City.
