Joining the library
Anyone can join a Joondalup library.
Residents of any age, visitors, schools and care centres can join Joondalup libraries. When you join at Joondalup, Duncraig, Whitford or Woodvale, your library membership will cover all the services offered at all four libraries. Even if you live outside the City of Joondalup, you are able to join the library.

What identification do I need to join the library?

- Name
- Home address

This can be a single document, such as a drivers licence or a combination of documents which may include:
- Driver’s licence
- Phone/power/water bill
- Health Care Card
- Bank statement
- Rent agreement
- Passport
- Proof of Age card
If you cannot provide documentation showing name, address and signature, please consult staff for other limited or online membership options.
