Joondalup Festival

The Joondalup Festival was named as a state finalist for the Best Cultural Arts Event at the Australian Event Awards in 2019.

The Joondalup Festival is the spectacular finale to the City of Joondalup’s summer events season. Celebrating 21 years in 2019, it is one of the northern corridor’s largest and most significant community events- a three-day feast of arts and culture. As the population of the northern corridor increases, the Joondalup Festival continues to grow and develop. The Joondalup Festival continues to invest in the local Western Australia arts sector, providing emerging and seasoned artists the opportunity to take artistic risks and produce new work.

In 2021 the festival will return to a two-day format, bringing some much needed fun and community connection from 27-28 March 2021. The event will still be free in 2021, but attendees may be required to register for tickets at some events, in order to control crowds and contact trace if needed. You can still expect to see most of the festivities you’ve come to expect of the Festival including show rides, pop-up venues and bars, street performers, children’s activities and much more!
