City libraries have a variety of resources to help job seekers of all ages.
The library’s Business, Finance and Careers section has a selection of quality resources to assist in the development of resumes, tips about applying for jobs and other useful resources for all types of job seekers.
The City libraries offer a range of online training courses that can assist you to improve your work-related skills. There are hundreds of available courses including tutorials on using software such as Word and Photoshop as well as skills such as office administration and book-keeping. If you need a CV/resume you can access several sites that will assist you with writing it.
Applying for a job?
City libraries have photocopying, scanning and printing facilities available, and computers with a range of Microsoft software including Word and Excel. Photocopying and printing incur a small fee. All City libraries also have free WiFi and internet access, and sell USB thumb-drives. See Internet and printing services for further information.
