Twilight Lantern Parade
Twilight Lantern Parade at Joondalup Festival
The Joondalup Festival is the spectacular finale to the City of Joondalup’s summer events season. Celebrating twenty two years in 2020, it is the northern corridor’s largest and most significant community event: a three-day feast of arts and culture.
One of the highlights of the Joondalup Festival is the Twilight Lantern Parade, a participative community arts project that showcases the talent, energy and creativity of the local community. With over 1,600 people parading last year to an audience of over 8,000 people, the Twilight Lantern Parade is one of the biggest community arts event in the northern corridor.
The City of Joondalup will continue to be guided by the Federal Government and Department of Health WA (DoH) in relation to appropriate responses relating to the COVID-19/Coronavirus issue. With this in mind, the City has cancelled the 2020 Joondalup Festival which will include the Twilight Lantern Parade.
