COVID-19 – Modified Library Services and Times – Frequently Asked Questions

The City continues to evaluate how it can best respond to COVID-19 restrictions proposed by State Government. The City’s highest priority remains the health and well-being of the community and visitors to the City. Library services have been modified to ensure the City meets the community’s hygiene and safety expectations.

Libraries are open in line with Stage 4 requirements that includes:

  • Register upon arrival with the SAFE WA app or via the contact register
  • Social distancing is in place
  • Sanitiser stations are available
  • Events, programs and services such as Books on Wheels are operating
  • If you are unwell, please act responsibly and stay at home.

All online resources are available 24/7 with your library card and if you require assistance to download the Safe WA app, please see a staff member or call the Digital Help Line on 9400 4183. For all other enquiries, call 9400 4751.
