Keep Australia Beautiful Week – 15 – 22 August 2022

Keep Australia Beautiful (KAB) Week is held annually in August and is a time to raise awareness about the simple things we can all do in our daily lives to reduce our impact on the environment.

This year the City is encouraging everyone to get involved with a KABC program and make a difference. Whether it be signing up to Adopt-a-Spot, becoming a litter reporter or signing up to the KABC newsletter – these are ways to educate and encourage action to reduce litter.

The City supports groups that ‘Adopt-a-Spot’ through KABC by providing equipment – bags/buckets, gloves and pickers, and by picking up litter that has been collected – find out more on ‘Adopt-a-Spot’ here.
