Meet the Author – Holden Sheppard
Tuesday 2 August, 6.00pm – 7.30pm
Joondalup Public Library

Holden will be in conversation with Dymocks Joondalup bookseller Aisling Lawless about his explosive new YA novel The Brink, pitched at older teens and adults, about a group of Year 12 students whose leavers trip goes fatally wrong, leading them to life-changing tragedy and triumph. Holden’s debut novel Invisible Boys won multiple accolades, including the 2019 WA Premier’s Prize for an Emerging Writer.

Meet the Author – Dr Chris Berry
Tuesday 2 August, 6.00pm – 7.30pm
Joondalup Reference Library

Dr Berry has worked in the local government sector since the 1980s and has published his book To Dwell in Unity. The book commemorates the 150th anniversary of local government systems in Western Australia. Dr Berry will share the personal stories of the characters and scoundrels who have been part of the remarkable story of local government in WA.

Meet Sydney author Pamela Hart, the new voice in crime fiction. Pamela’s latest book An A-List for Death is full of celebrities, journalists, police, money and murder. Pamela is an award-winning author who has previously written fantasy and historical romance.

Meet the Author – Maya Linnell

Meet best-selling rural fiction author, Maya Linnell, who will be in conversation with local author Sasha Wasley, about Maya’s latest book Paperbark Hill. Maya is a former country journalist and radio host who gathers inspiration from the country communities she loves to write popular rural romance.
