National Simultaneous Story Time
National Simultaneous Story Time is back for its 21st year on Wednesday 19 May. Join us as we blast off into space.
Every year a picture book, written by an Australian author is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places across Australia.
The book chosen for 2021 is Give me Some Space! written and illustrated by Philip Bunting.
This year is extra special because the book is read by the astronaut Dr Shannon Walker from the International Space Station.
Watch the broadcast of Dr Shannon Walker reading from space.
Get involved – Monday 17 May to Saturday 22 May
Come along to Story Time at Duncraig, Whitford and Woodvale Libraries to listen to the story and then watch the broadcast from space. All sessions begin at 10.00am.
