North West District Planning Committee
The North West District Planning Committee is an external committee established by the Western Australian Planning Commission that the City participates in. The role of the committee is to provide a forum for discussion and recommendation on regional planning issues. The North West District Planning Committee is established in accordance with the provisions of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
Note: At its meeting held on 25 August 2009, the Western Australian Planning Commission resolved that the North West District Planning Committee would become an advisory committee with meetings scheduled at the discretion and direction of the WAPC.
