Ocean Reef Marina – Breakwater Construction

Construction on the Ocean Reef Marina breakwaters is due to commence in the coming weeks.
Stretching for two-kilometres, each breakwater is up 18.5 metres high from the ocean floor and will include approximately 650,000 tonnes of limestone and 300,000 tonnes of granite, being delivered to site from late March.
Construction of the new breakwaters and removal of the old breakwaters is expected to take up to 18 months.
