Sorrento Football Club Inc

Percy Doyle Reserve
42 Beddi Road, Duncraig
This place is not operated by the City of Joondalup

The Sorrento Football Club Inc. (SFC) was formed on the 9th of February 1972. The official launch of the Club was held by and supported by the City of Wanneroo. The clubs colours of turquoise, black and white were taken from the nearby Sorrento Primary School, from which the majority of players were sourced. The club’s home ground was Marri Reserve at Ayton Way, Duncraig and to this day the reserve remains a vital part of the club’s playing fields.

The club moved to its present home of Percy Doyle Reserve in 1979. Today, SFC is a prominent and leading club in the Western Australia National Premier League (NPL). Whilst ever mindful of its proud history, SFC is a progressive club with strong potential for sustained success and change. To this end it was agreed at our 2005 AGM that it was time to fall into line with the rest of the world, by adopting the name Sorrento Football Club. The first soccer club in WA to do so.
