Joondalup library – Reference collection

Short-term loans from the Reference Collection

The majority of the Reference collection is now available for loans of one week, adding over 5,000 additional volumes to the Libraries’ adult non-fiction available for loan.

You may borrow up to two items at a time, you will need to collect and return the items to Joondalup Reference Library, and there are no online renewals or reservations.

Reference Collection

The Joondalup Library reference collection is located on the lower ground floor of Joondalup Library. It has a broad collection of print materials including extensive resources on Western Australia.

Much of the collection is suitable for students from secondary school onward, and some resources are also suitable for younger children.

The collection includes the following items:

• Reference books
• Specialist journals and magazines
• Dictionaries – both English and foreign language
• ATAR revision resources including study guides and past exam papers and solutions
• Local and international newspapers
• Maps, atlases and street directories.
• Genealogy collection

Staff are available to assist with academic and personal enquiries.

A wide variety of online resources are also available.
