Applications for the City of Joondalup Youth School Awards 2024-25 are now OPEN and close on Sunday 15 September 2024.
What are they?
These awards are to encourage young people to further their studies beyond Year 10 and are to the value of $1,000. There are two categories for ATAR and General Education students, including VET and Alternative Education Programs (including TAFE).
Who are they for?
Young people aged 15 – 18 years, currently in Year 10 or equivalent and continuing study beyond Year 10.

Eligibility
- Any student aged between 15 – 18 years, currently in Year 10 or equivalent, is eligible to nominate for one award, to assist them in continuing their studies beyond year 10, at an educational institution within the City of Joondalup.
- The student must be a resident of the City of Joondalup.
- Students can apply as an individual or be nominated by an educational institution.
- The educational institution must complete the “Confidential Report” for each application. The “Confidential Report” is available on the application pack.
- The educational institution must complete the “Educational Institution – Financial Information Form” form for each application.
- The student is ineligible if they are in receipt of another academic scholarship over the value of $500. If they have previously received a scholarship for a different category such as sport or arts, the student is not precluded from this award.
Applications for the City of Joondalup Youth School Awards 2024-25 have been extended and close Friday 4 October 2024.
