Joondalup Has The Edge

This Business Forum saw the launch of the City’s Joondalup Has The Edge – Investment Prospectus to approximately 170 people, including local politicians, business leaders and stakeholders and highlighted the advantages of Joondalup for prospective business investors.

The City of Joondalup is at the heart of one of Australia’s fastest growing regions – Perth’s Northern Growth Corridor. Recognised by the Western Australian State Government as the main Strategic Metropolitan Centre in northern Perth, it represents one of Asia-Pacific’s most unique and exciting business locations, focussed on future global growth opportunities in business, innovation and research.

A modern, master planned city with major health, education, business and retail precincts and a stable, proactive local government, Joondalup offers an outstanding environment for any growing business. Over 40% of metropolitan Perth’s population can be reached within just a 30 minute drive time of Joondalup, and over the next 20 years 200,000 more people will move into Perth’s Northern Growth Corridor. This growth represents significant opportunities for Joondalup businesses.

Keynote Speakers included City of Joondalup CEO Garry Hunt, Mayor Troy Pickard and The Hon. Dr Hendy Cowan AO, Chancellor, Edith Cowan University, Former WA Deputy Premier, Minister for Commerce and Trade, Regional Development, and Small Business, who discussed Edith Cowan University research and partnering with local businesses.
