The Great Book Swap – closing the literacy gap

Categories:

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation reports that many children in remote communities don’t have access to books, which are the central building blocks in learning to read.

The Great Book Swap is a fantastic way to celebrate reading. The idea is to swap a favourite book in exchange for a gold coin donation.

All funds raised will go to support the great work of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation; an organisation that provides new books to children living in remote Indigenous communities with the goal of raising literacy.
