The Rose Pelargonium (Pelargonium capitatum) and the Wild Gladiolus (Gladiolus caryophyllaceus) are two species of weed we are trying to minimise in the bushland. This is easy exercise along the asphalt walking trails and we will pull out as many pelargonium and pink gladiolus as we can. It’s a great introduction to what are native plants and what aren’t.

To add some fun, we are having a friendly bake-off challenge after our successful weeding session. Who will win? Bring your own treat to share, otherwise just come and enjoy meeting us and trying our home-made delights (after we’ve made you work for it of course!).
